Alana De La Garza, an incredible actress who has left a mark in the film industry. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother, was born in Columbus Ohio on June 26, 1976. De La Garza soon moved to Texas, where she studied physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas before moving to Orlando, Florida. In Orlando, she played many roles, ranging in local independent films as well as global commercials. Despite the fact that she only had minor roles, she rapidly realized the passion she had for acting. She moved into New York and in 2001 she landed her first acting gig on the daytime soap opera All My Children as Rosa Santos. Through the first half of 2000, her small parts were in JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, her debut major series was on The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV stars such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her most memorable role came in 2006 on Law & Order where she was A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared on 85 episodes. Her character then flocked to the short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza's character received several nominations for the show, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She has also been awarded ALMA Award nods. The year 2008 was the time she received an Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition for her outstanding Performances on a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza got a reprise role in CSI Miami a few moments after. She was Marisol Delko and wife to the character of David Caruso Horatio Caine. On NBC's dark and dramatic show Do No Harm she played her character as Dr. Lena Solis. It was pulled after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are of Italian origin and is the younger sister of Cory who is about 10 years younger than her. The family she was raised in was an orthodox and religious family. Milano was just seven years older when her babysitter took Milano to a talent show. The four selected girls among over a thousand potential candidates included Milano. Milano was featured on television in commercials, and off Broadway productions including a musical adaptation to Jane Eyre.
